Masco Foundation

The philosophy around Masco’s philanthropic engagement is to support charitable activities and community partnerships that support our corporate objectives by enhancing the Company’s reputation as a responsible corporate citizen. Masco uses corporate funds, manufactured product, employee volunteerism and its Foundation to accomplish its charitable and community engagement agenda. The Company embraces its responsibility to the community, and we are confident that our actions are making an important difference.

Making a Difference

Masco Corporation Foundation was established in 1952 as a 501(c)3 non-profit financed with contributions from the Corporation.  The Foundation’s funds are directed at other 501(c)3s and eligible public entities with altruistic goals.  The Foundation makes cash grants, and is separate and apart from other in-kind, promotional or product donations and services the Corporation might consider.

Masco’s Foundation supports a variety of arts, cultural, affordable housing, human service, environmental and civic initiatives in Southeast Michigan. In recent years, the Foundation has expanded its reach into communities across the country where Masco has business operations.  These initiatives have supported the hungry and homeless and, most recently, the Foundation provided significant funding to organizations supporting our country’s veterans and military personnel.  Masco’s Foundation is known best for its long-term arts legacy in metropolitan Detroit.
